The Perspective Behind the Lens

For most of my life, I didn’t think creativity was part of my story.

I was the athlete. The structured one. The one who followed a path that made sense.

Until life forced me to slow down.

A fibromyalgia diagnosis changed everything I thought I knew about myself. The identity I had built no longer fit—and I had to figure out who I was without it.

What I found was perspective.

Picking up a camera wasn’t just about creating content. It was about learning how to see.

I’ve always noticed the things most people overlook.
But what I didn’t realize at first… was that I could feel moments coming before they happened.

The shift in energy.
The reaction building.
The second right before everything changes.

That ability changed everything.

It allowed me to capture emotion, reactions, and real moments before most people even think to reach for their camera.

That’s the difference between recording a moment…
and actually catching it.

Now, I don’t just capture what things look like.
I capture what they felt like in real time.

Whether it’s a brand, a family, or a fleeting moment, my work is rooted in one thing—
making sure the moments that matter don’t get lost.
